Hi!

My name is Natalia Chirkowska and I’m a Polish illustrator currently based in the UK.

I studied History of Art at the University of Warsaw and the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Once I obtained my MA degree, I briefly studied Illustration at Cardiff School of Art and Design.

My work has appeared in various magazines such as Revista Pantera or Popshot Quarterly, and the first picture book I illustrated, Ten Pan (eng. That Man), was published in Poland by Widnokrąg in autumn 2023. In the same year, it received a distinction in the Polish Section of the IBBY’s Book of the Year Award in the Illustration category.

I was also a winner of the 2021 Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Children's Book Fair, as well as longlisted for the Folio Book Illustration Award 2023.
